FAQ

Fees, extras and the final quote

What is not included in your prices?

Government fees, first of all: the Registrar’s €165 incorporation fee is paid at cost on top of our €1,200 for company formation. Each package also names what third parties charge: translations and apostilles on residence and citizenship files, health insurance for the pink and yellow slip, the bank’s own account fees, the statutory audit fee next to accounting, a statutory liquidator where one is required, and the own funds a CySEC license needs. A registered office address is not part of company formation; it is a separate package from €400.

Which government fees do I pay on top, and how much?

Registrar incorporation fee €165 (company with share capital). Form MEU1 for EU citizens €20. Pink slip issue or renewal €70. Digital nomad permit €70. Work permit for a company of foreign interests €70. Fast-track permanent residence application €500. Naturalisation application €500. Each figure is linked to the Registrar, the Migration Department or the Ministry of Interior in the source list at the end of this page. For VAT registration, bank account support and liquidation our reference holds no state fee figure; if one applies, your quote names it before we start.

I am an EU citizen moving to Cyprus. What does registering cost in total?

€420 for one person: our €400 yellow slip package plus the €20 fee for form MEU1. You have 4 months from entry to file, and the Migration Department decides within 1 month at the latest. Our part, from the eligibility check to the filed MEU1, takes 5–15 working days. Family members who are also EU citizens register on MEU1 as well; tell us who moves with you and the quote shows one fee line per form. Family members from outside the EU follow a different procedure that this page does not price. Opening a company at the same time adds our €1,200 and the Registrar’s €165: €1,785 in all, before translations.

How is the final quote set?

In writing, before any work starts. We usually reply within one business day. The quote lists our fee, our working time and every government fee as a separate line; for company formation that is €1,200, 7–15 working days and the Registrar’s €165. After you accept it, the price changes only if the case changes: another shareholder, another family member or a document that needs translating.

Does the license fee include the capital CySEC requires?

No. Our fee starts at €30,000 for a CASP application and €40,000 for a CIF, and the capital sits outside both: under MiCA a CASP holds at least €50,000 for the lowest class of services, and a CIF that holds no client money needs €75,000 initial capital. If you were hoping for the old national crypto registration, it closed to new applications on 17 October 2024.
